I would NOT recommend this school as it caters to favouritism. As a hearing impaired student, I offered the teachers a way to help me to hear more by using the blue tooth microphone and having it passed around so that I could hear everything that was being said in the classroom. I was told that it was too much of a bother, that they would just repeat everything that was said (which they never did). To top it off, there was a blind student that has garnered quite a bit of media attention that was attending at the same time as I was attending. They bent over backwards to go over and above everything that this student required all because the student's media attention would reflect upon this school. I am not the only one who feels this way about the teachers playing favouritism, as I have spoke with others and they too have mentioned that they have noticed this practice--it bothered them and annoyed them. So unless you are super sure that you are going to be a "teacher;s pet", I'd by-pass this school!

Just finished attending MH Vicars and I can't say enough about how excellent of a job they are doing. The school itself is intimate and small and the instructors are truly one-of-a-kind and 100% dedicated to the best interest of the students. Becoming a massage therapist is no easy-task, however the curriculum is organized efficiently for learning and suits many learning styles and there is always lots of support around if you need assistance. Thank you thank you thank you.

This review is not so much for the school itself, but for what I consider the best part of the school as a nearby resident and non student of the school. Since their students need practice to graduate they offer cheap massages to visitors of their student clinics. All you have to do is register with them ahead of time.

Now admittedly, the experience you, as a client to the school's clinic, will have will vary depending on the student you get, but really it's hard to pass up a cut rate massage. So far my experience there is that they are professional and quite capable. So who can pass up a good massage for a great price? Not me!

If your trying to work a full time job and attend this program, you will struggle. The monthly program schedule isn't always "monthly" (some "months" being a few weeks). My spouse is not working and struggles to get the massive amounts of memorization, practice massage and homework completed, and still have time to be with the family. On that note, she loves school and instructors, and is thoroughly enjoying the program. She has to study for 40-60 hours a week to be successful, (not the 20-30 hours that is posted on the description). And this is not what we, as a family signed up for, so I wanted to voice that as an outsider, watching this experience. From what she has told me, classmates have dropped out, and its very likely that this is the reason.
