  dollar days at sobeys always has a few good deals but the regular prices seem unusually high compared to other grocery stores I visit. I only shop for specials and go for milk eggs bread meats and other pantry items at another store. It is a nice clean fairly empty store with friendly staff so it's a nice visit.

  I really enjoy going to Solvents in Riverbend. It is always clean and the people that work there are always so great.

  My wife and I stopped in there this evening to grab some side vegetables for dinner. Every single head of broccoli had a DISGUSTING amount of mold all over them. Not just one, they were all really nasty. I really don't know how to keep taking my business there. We are right between sobeys and another big name grocery store so I doubt I will be back.

  When I brought this up with a produce team member his reply was "sorry, you can fill out a comment on the Sobey's website". In his defense he did remove every single piece of broccoli from the shelf. However I did not feel cared about nor did I understand how vegetables could get that nasty and not be noticed.

  Usually ok... but on two separate occasions, I have noticed some of their shelf products (energy bars in the health foods aisle) were expired by about four months.

  Shopped at this location a bunch of times. Was really happy with the service and the quick lines. Very well staffed for the traffic.

  Nice clean store with some of the best vegetables and fruit available to be sold. The staff is friendly and very happy to assist you in finding the products you are looking for. The cooked meats that are available are good, but if you like your roast beef anything but we'll done you May as well buy a roast and cook it yourself. Even if you request a rare of medium roast beef you are told "No we don't sell them that way" and then they end the conversation by walking away! If they really wanted to serve all their customers they would offer the choice of buying a rare or medium rare roast. Most of the time the chicken is overcooked and dry as sawdust and the hams are cooked the same way but they leave a lot of water in the package so it looks juicy, until you get home and cut into a dry chuck of leather. But the staff is nice and helpful
