Make sure you're on time! Practice was highly recommended to me so I thought I would try despite the distance. I have 2 young children and am on time most of the time, but sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances. Today was one of those days :-(. When I got in my car, knew I would be late so called at 2:10 to let them know i would be up to 10 min late for my 2:20 appointment). I arrived at the complex at 2:30. Drove around to find where it was (first time there). Parked as close as I could. Baby was asleep, so had to pull out the stroller to keep him that way. Quelled a tantrum from my 5 year old from being rushed. Got in to the practice and waited for somone else to pay. Apologized for being late and was then told I couldn't be seen. I was about 15 min late at this point. I asked to fill out their intake forms, My 5 year old yelled to go pee. Took her to the bathroom, filled out the form and then was asked when to rebook. Talked to the lady with glasses at the front and told her I do realize I am late, but since I did call ahead and warn them I feel I should have been told there was a chance I would be turned away in the phone call. Takes me up to 30 min to drive there, and if I had known that I'd be turned away I would have turned around. The lady made a bit of a quibble about how from right now I was 20 min late, but given that I had already done a potty break, filled out forms and such I had been there for at least 5 min already so let's say I'm 15 min late. Anyways plus side is that the baby who's kept me up with sickness and teething 3 nights in a row got a really good nap from all the driving we did! I can respect needing to run a practice on schedule but given that I had called and not been informed I don't feel like I'm all that wrong. I guess their policy is a bit more strict than I'm used to so won't be going there again. Sorry!

I have been seeing Leah Milne. She is an amazing and thorough therapist. I have seen two other Pelvic Physio Therapists in the city who both overlooked my needs but Leah was able to identify and support me even after just one session. She is truly skilled and knowledgable at what she does. I would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Lakeview Physio. I have been seeing Linc Pisio for 2 months now to help with a back pain issue my Chiropractor was just not solving. Linc took the time to explain his thoughts on a course of treatment, was open each visit on adjusting that course of treatment based on how things progressed or didn't that week. If I had to use a word to explain the service I would say Vigilant. I do feel like Linc took a personal interest in my health and is willing to spend the extra time to explain to me how things might help my progress. I'm not yet back to 100% but I am confident that Linc is not going to rest until I am. The owner even called me back the same day when I had billing question. Convenient to stop in for an appointment on my way home from work to boot.

Nancy is not just an effective and knowledgeable physiotherapist but also is genuinely caring and supportive. She patiently and honestly answers my many questions and helps manage my expectations regarding my condition. She has been a life saver (both physically and emotionally) this last year as I've been dealing with serious mobility issues. Thank you Nancy!

After delivering my second baby I was left in such incredible pain in my right hip as well as incontinence issues. I couldn't walk and after a month of suffering and repeated visits to my maternity Dr (of whom would only suggest more pain medications which I did not want to take) I turned to my regular physio therapist for help and she actually referred me to go to lakeview physio as she believed my pain and 'other issues' was caused by my labour. I had my first treatment with Leah at Lakeview three weeks ago... she did pelvic floor release as well as external release and some dry needling. The very next day I woke up with almost no pain and my mobility was much better!!! I have been seeing Leah twice a week and have NO pain and my strength is almost completely back. I'm continuing with treatment and honestly I would suggest to anyone that is having any post partum pain and/or other issues related to 'down there,' not to wait and go get treatment!! Leah is very professional and made me feel very safe and comfortable with all the procedures. I have grown to trust her and would recommend her to anyone. My only regret is that I wish I would have been referred to Leah immediately post partum so that I wouldn't have had to suffer for so long in pain.

The fact that I have remained a client of Lakeview Physiotherapy for many years is a testament to the great care I've received. The facility is bright and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Appointments can be booked and cancelled online (although I book in person) and email reminders are sent out a few days before appointments.
