  The rooms are fairly recently remodeled and well kept. The service was very good. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and featured cereals, fruits and melons, typical breakfast meats, and pancakes, french toast and occasionally waffles with a variety of fruit toppings. The water park is clean and well maintained, and suitable for children of all ages, with accommodations for parents like deck chairs and a hot tub.

  This hotel was a welcome surprise when we arrived in Calgary to -19 temps for our 20 hour layover between flights. Our kids loved the amazing pool and water slides, our teens enjoyed the hot tub and even did some slides, and we also enjoyed the hot tub.

  We actually said “we should plan a trip to Calgary to Come back to this hotel!” I will be telling all of my friends with kids about it as well and to be honest, we’ve been Embassy Suites patrons for 15+ years because of their three beds in a room and wonderful breakfast but we are not looking into other best westerns for upcoming travel.

  Our room was a nice size with two queen beds and a pull out couch and also a nice feature of a sink inside the bathroom and a second one just outside the bathroom.

  The rooms we ended up with were clean and nice. Customer service was good. Our original rooms smelled very bad but they moved us. Not sure what the issue was. The rooms were quiet despite it being new years eve. The pool was fun for all ages. Food was good.

  As someone who spends more time in various hotels than at home, I can confidently say that the Port is unrivaled in its customer service. I often go as far as to say that it feels like my second home. All staff are extremely courteous, flexible, and accommodating, and they consistently go beyond their roles and responsibilities just to bring a smile to guests' faces.

  The breakfast is what really sealed the deal for us on the incredible value of this hotel. Multiple hot items; bacon, sausage, decried beans, pancakes, french toast, waffles already made, scrambled eggs and eggs Florentine.

  You are never going to beat finding a better place to stay than Best Western Port O'Call in Calgary! Moe & His team are amazing people that treat everyone like family!! From the Beautiful Rooms to the BEST BUFFET BREAKFAST I have EVER Had!!! The staff really care about making everything just perfect for your stay!! To all the Staff at Port O'Call, Thank-you for making my week away from home so comfortable! Thank-you for making me feel like family! Thank-you for the Amazing Breakfast Each morning to help me start my Long Day's on the right foot! (Loved the Classic Hits Xmas Music)THANK- YOU! Can't wait to stay and visit again in the future!

  A full cereal bar, meaning more than 5 varieties. A yogurt, granola and fruit bar, a huge selection of breads and toasts, and also a lovely pastry selection. I believe there was more that I didn’t see because we got up at 6:30 to catch a plane and I was a little tired!
