  Awsome friendly knowledgeable Growler Bar staff. Great selection of both local microbreweries and other Canadian brewers on tap. There's something for every beer and cider drinker. Wine and other spirits are equally plentiful and numerous.

  I have always gone to the Bulk Barn next door but never set foot inside because I'm a beer guy and the store is called Wine & Beyond. On Sunday my wife made me go in just to check it out. I was blown away.

  What impressed me the most was the Growler section in the middle of the store. You can buy a 32 oz bottle or a 64 oz bottle and fill it up with a great selection of beer that's fresh and on tap. They constantly rotate their beer so you have a great selection. I'm not a big fan of the boring watered down domestic beers such as bud or Canadian. Any chance I get to support local business i will and this place has it all. I have found my favorite store in Calgary.

  The staff are very friendly and helpful there. Also, their liquor and wine selection is extremely good! I would also take the time to peruse their whisky and scotch selection too. When I was there, they had a 1 of 128 bottle of whiskey priced at about $65000, and was only one of 2 in Canada.

  Almost too big. Imagine a store the size of a decent grocery store, except filled only with wine, beer, and liquor. It sounds awesome, but is actually kind of disorienting. It’s so much selection that it’s hard to pick anything, but I guess that’s a good problem to have.

  The place has a huge selection of beer, wine, hard stuff and tons of cool accessories and stocking stuffers near the cash registers.

  Personally, I prefer a smaller store that needs to be more careful with what they choose to stock. That way you can always be sure you’re getting something pretty good.
