  I wen't in to the Market Mall location with my lifetime protection plan to get my ring size taken down a little and the two Gentleman I dealt with on separate occasions were just wonderful! So I advise if you go there to try and talk to one of them! :)

  Bad customer service. I called the store to get a status update for my rink sizing. Yes, I might have called them too soon (on the day of the estimated completion date), but I don't think it is ok to treat a customer in such a rude manner. The lady who took my call just said "we call when it's ready." and hang-up. Well...as a customer service rep, couldn't you at least say "Unfortunately..." or "don't worry... we will call you when it's ready" or take a moment and actually check the status? I felt like I was just a piece of crap who has no meaning to them. I don't think she was a professional customer rep. And guess what? Approximately 2 hours from the call, I got a call (voice mail message) that says it was ready. So... if she actually checked the status, she could see it was ready, and I didn't have to wait for another day. She should realize that the store is not just selling a product but selling some kind of precious memory, feeling, love, etc. This ring was a gift from my fiancé...and it was like an engagement ring for me. Now, I will remember this call and bad experience when I see my ring. OK. This was my personal story, and I took this experience (maybe too) personally. And...there might be a good customer rep at the store...who I didn't see. But...sorry, I won't recommend anyone to shop there.

  With my lifetime protection program I have to go in every 6 months I am hoping for better experiences in the future so I don't have to drive further to talk to nice associates.

  Well I will start off by saying I Absolutely love the ring my fiance picked out for me from Michael Hill its beautiful and the quality is amazing! He purchased it from the Chinook location and had a great experience from what he has told me.

  Phil Johnson, Manager at this Michael Hill Jeweller location was very helpful and courteous in helping with my issue. He listened to my concerns and was able to immediately reassure me that this would be resolved quickly - which it was! Great customer service and friendly helpful staff. Thank you!

  As for the women there, as I was filling out my paperwork for sizing she was extremely pushy trying to show me engagement rings that were on sale and had an attitude when I declined. (Was the thousands of dollars my fiance just spent not enough!?) We left and a few days later I went back to pick up my ring on a Friday afternoon, 3 women were working and there were no customers in the store I stood there for a good 2 minutes while they ignored me to talk to each other continually sending over annoyed glances. When one finally did talk to me it was the same one as before and after she handed me my ring she said "So are you actually ready to buy anything this time." I get you are on commission but honestly the pushy sales tactics were insulting and annoying.

  Get your jewelry from Michael Hills at the Market Mall. They have great prices and an amazing service and staff. I will highly recommend this jewelry store to all of my friends, family and colleagues. I would've gave them 10 stars but its not letting me add more stars to this review. Keep up the great work. Will definitely return.

  Best Customer Service ever! I was looking for something special and Dan (Daniel) helped me greatly! He listened to me, didn't try to push a sale or try to change my mind, he gave me exactly what i wanted, gave me options, ideas, he is even able to draw and desing jewelry for me if needed. I will definitely come here more often. Thank you Daniel, and thank you Michael Hill.
