  This is the worst jysk store I have been too with everything very disorganized and cluttered and not a very clean store either. I saw lots of merchandise on the floor that was for display purposes that was damaged which makes one think that if they buy the items, the same thing will happen to it when they get it home... especially furniture. A very cheap alternative to some other stores... but only if your willing to sacrifice quality. I won't be back.

  It’s a good thing we knew exactly what we were after before we went in, because the customer service here is deplorable. Absolutely horrible.

  When we got home we proceeded sort through the boxes and found we we're missing the hardware and instructions. We had called the store back and of course the north JYSK had the hardware box and instructions. Once again I had to proceed all the way to the north to get the last of the stuff (I thought). The staff was absolutely horrible and not apologetic by any means. They did offer me a 30 dollar in-store credit. FINALLY, I leave thinking great I can put this together. I get home start opening the boxes up and following the instructions only to realize they have given me a double of one box and I am missing box 5/5. I get on the phone and call them back (now I'm really loosing my beans) and of course they tell me if they don't have the box at the NORTH end I will have to wait at least 3-4 weeks to get this box. At this point I called JYSK in RED DEER and they were absolutely amazing and willing to do a free delivery to my house for the Calgary store mix ups.

  Most of the people there are nice. But I had a girl named Michelle M an assistant manager at the south location she was just NASTY AND RUDE. I will certainly never allow her to serve me again. I am a very happy person, its Christmas and nobody needs to deal with a misserable person.

  The customer service and lack of empathy is horrendous. The store is dirty, messy, and so very disorganized. I will say the warehouse manager in the deerfoot Meadows location was easier and friendlier to deal with then the NORTH but the staff in both locations need a course on how to provide DECENT service.

  Great place. Have furnitures of nice design that I love. I bought Shawn desk which is sharply designed.

  **** DO NOT BUY from JYSK. I wish I could say it was the product we had a problem with but unfortunately it is the CUSTOMER SERVICE. My sister and I went to JYSK to buy my neice a bed. After finding one that we liked, the staff had told us they had one box in the back (deerfoot Meadows) and 4 boxes in the north JYSK. When I asked if they could deliver the 4 boxes to deerfoot Meadows as I live closer to that store they argued with me saying they do not do in-store transfers and I would be charged a 65 dollar delivery fee. At that moment I should have walked away with their lack of customer service but proceeded to the north end to pick up the rest of the boxes.
