  I would suggest that anyone who has negatively reviewed this office evaluate their own behaviour and treatment of the Heritage Dental staff prior to posting a review that is highly inaccurate and detracting from an otherwise exceptional business.

  I don't normally write negative reviews, in fact this would be my first. Most negative part of my experience was the front reception - they are extremely rude, unfeeling and did not accommodate my needs. I emailed them to reschedule an appointment which they did not receive as their reply was "we do not check emails, calling is best". Never heard of this, especially when calling is not an option before operating hours. So when it came time for my appointment they were calling me frantically as I "did not show". Not sure how this would be the client's fault when a previous cancellation email was sent ON THEIR WEBSITE.

  I've had a few rough experiences in the past with dentistry which caused me to develop more than a little anxiety about getting dental work done.

  Treated with hostility. Even though communication may or may not have been clear. I tried to provide information to clear things up. Neither of the women in reception were willing to admit they may or may not have understand what I was asking. Or admit they knew how billing worked. So I was told they couldn't take me as a client since I don't have a credit card. And that 'this clinic' wasn't for me...unquote

  For my rescheduled appointment I was going to be late, which I called to let them know. She spoke to the dentist telling him this is my "3rd no show" - totally inaccurate, as described above. The dentist kindly waved the $80 fee to which he said I would not be able to reschedule the appointment. Upon clarification, this meant that I could no longer see the dentist, translation - we no longer want your business.

  Overall Dr. Isted was a good dentist - no complaints there. That's why I'm giving them a 2/5. But truly a hostile environment every visit, unfriendly and so many other businesses out there who could better meet one's needs. Contrasting this office with my orthodontist - a totally different and negative experience. Reception to take blame for this review.

  Growing up, I saw an absolutely awful dentist who ended up being convicted of molesting patients, losing his practice and spending a substantial amount of time in jail.

  When trying to get my health care uploaded with the office it was a struggle. The brunette receptionist, middle aged with hoop earrings made it seem like it was a hassle and when dealing with her she made a phone call to another client to which she asked me to wait to finish with her because she was busy. I work in customer service. Never would it be tolerated to ask a client to move aside to deal with something else MIDWAY through helping them.

  Dr Isted specifically, as well as all of the other dentists, assistants, hygienists, and admin staff are exceptional. The level of fear I had when first coming in was acknowledged immediately and every member of Heritage Dental did their very best to make me comfortable.

  Dr. Fletcher and her hygienist were so kind to me - they acknowledged my anxiety and really helped me by walking me through each step as they went. They were gentle and patient with me, and, in the end, did a great job that I'm very happy with.

  Four years later, I am able to attend with no issues. I have also referred my entire family including four children, my mom and dad, aunts and uncles and a co worker who lost a tooth in an unfortunate work place accident. In addition to that, I am now proud of my new smile.
