  I showed up at Brian's door on a Friday at 3:30pm due to a sudden issue with my car and I was nearby. Even with the shop closing at 5, he promised me he would look at it before the end of the day. I received a call from him at 5:30pm noting all the details of his inspection, and that he had called around for parts that were unavailable for another month. The following business day (Monday), Brian followed up with multiple phone calls on the work and how it progressed. Although it ended up costing more than the original quote, everything was explained in detail and the car was returned to me within 2 business days, and over 10 hours of labour, even though I had made no appointment. =)

  After my friend Judy recommended Thorncliffe Auto, I took one of my vehicles there three years ago for an oil change and tire swap. At first, I thought the invoice was incorrect because it was much less costly than the dealership.

  When looking at options for tires, I have always been presented with three options (and the offer for them to look for more). When service is recommended based on the age/mileage of vehicle, it has always been stated that it is recommendation but my choice if I would like to have that done now or next time (except for once in the case of "I really do suggest you do this now", when it was warranted).

  Been coming here for about 5 years now without any issues. Brian and Riley have always gotten the work done right and on time which I really appreciate being a one vehicle house hold.

  Great service. Great people. They've always taken great care of me and my vehicles needs. Brian even went out of his way to have a glass company come out and replace my window while it was in his care.

  Om 2013 I brought in my equinox after verifying numerous times a quote for the work and that they had a the special tool needed for the repair. They said they had the tool and quoted a repair price. They ended up not having the tool and increasing the quote by 50%. It then took over 3 repeat visits to get the repair done. Today, their work fell apart. Low quality parts used that should have lasted longer. I will now take my vehicle to reputable mechanic who has quoted me a price, he will stick to, about 60% less than their price and it will fall apart. You take significant commercial and potentially other risk going to this place. Those numerous return trips clearly contributed to these poor parts failing well before they should have ... the previous part lasted 10 years, their part lasted 4 years ...
