  Called in to get my break pads replaced. Was told to do it myself because the job was too easy. Haha I respect the honesty, but I don't know how to change a tire. Not every one is a car guy Rob. Since I didn't get any work done and had a small interaction I'm giving 3/5 but my personal review is 1/5

  Rob really knows his engines and diagnostics. I do a little bit of my own basic mechanical work and Rob has been happy to dispense advice or simply bill for diagnostic time when needed - some mechanics aren't as friendly or helpful. I'm a satisfied customer.

  I have been going to Gateway for over five years. I have a large family, and three cars that should have been retired several years ago. Rob and his team have been fantastic in working with me to keep my cars running, and extremely honest with fixing what must be fixed (not what could be fixed).   Honest and outstanding service. Had a problem with my F150 in 2WD causing a terrible grinding noise back in the spring. Woodridge Ford quoted me $1300 to diagnose and fix what they THINK is the problem (no guarantee). Brought to Rob and he identified a bad vacuum hose that caused wear on the wheel hubs, and he fixed it for $350 (including a needed oil change)!!!! I have not been back to the dealer since. Highly, highly recommend Rob & NAPA.
