Best French macaroons in Calgary at an affordable price. Love love love the vanilla latte and almond chips. I would go here more often if one of their baristas did not give me “the look” when I told her about my cinnamon allergy. Instead tell me something that I need to know before I make a purchase like: there’s cinnamon in the coconut macaroon?? That way I would not feel like I’m being judged or waste my money on something she clearly knew I can’t have. Still giving four stars cuz she makes pretty good vanilla latte and other pastries are delicious.

Really saved my butt when my sisters wanted macaron cake and all the other bakeries needed 3- 5 business days notice. This cake was pretty and very sweet.

It is, in my opinion, never a good thing to write a review about something you like online. A letter, as inconvenient as it may be, phone call, or even a text message seems better appropriate. But due to the fact that most people check online to see restaurant reviews, I have decided to compose a quick testimonial. For me to explain how good the chocolate devotion and hazelnut crunch cakes I tried is a task that forces me beyond my vocabulary. And the cappuccino, creamy and thick and supple all at once.

I love finding and trying new local coffee experiences. Sadly this was not a positive experience. The shop is gorgeous inside, however the barista was unbelievably rude and arrogant completely tainting the experience. It all went wrong when after paying ($5.38 for a large Americano with caramel syrup), I asked if they had almond or soy milk for creamer. I was very rudely told I would be "graced" this time, however next time I need to order it before paying as its an extra charge. For creamer. A tablespoons worth. It was not said nicely. It was said in a snarky manner that she thought I was obviously trying to get out of paying for it. The rest of the interactions with her were very disappointing. Killed the experience. Won't be returning. There are many other options all right within steps of here. I don't need to be growled at by a barista for asking for dairy free creamer. I was a barista myself for sometime and have never charged or been charged for a dairy free alternative as a creamer. Unfortunate for the owner who has obviously invested a lot in the business.
