  Shoebox is more like a games store that serves coffee than a boardgame café. I visited on a tournament day which meant the room was fairly loud and busy. Nice place though. For the right type of gamer this is perfect. Rental selection isn't as broad as I'd hoped.

  Shoebox is a great environment with a good selection and a very friendly staff, It is on the pricey side when it comes to singles for cards, but other than that, I recommend!

  I enjoy coming here every week. The staff are very friendly and the prices are quite fair. I find it is a great place to spend a Saturday hanging out with friends and like minded individuals. Decent selection for hot food as well if you end up getting hungry while you're hanging out.

  Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff are great, the owners are approachable and genuinely helpful, and they have worked with the space they've got to create an atmosphere that is conducive to socializing and gaming.

  I have been to a couple other stores in town and have to say for a new person just getting into Card Games culture it has been the friendliest and most welcoming place I have been to.
