  came to do a wire transfer to this branch on a short lunch break, showed them info which was given to me and others by standards. The clerks told me that first they prefer the info printed and not displayed on smart phone screen, second is that they couldn't do the transfer because there was no bank address. I went to ATB across deerfoot and they did the transfer without hussies saying that there was no need for bank address if i had the swift code.

  This branch has been absolutely awful to deal with. I have been a customer for over 7 years and used to be able to cash my paycheck without a hold. They know me and the cheque very well. Now they claim their new policy is they must hold it and only release what your cash back allows. After going through a very difficult time after my divorce my credit took a hit and the back will not increase my cash back or give me overdraft protection. Meanwhile other branches have ewillingly cashed it, stating that the notes on file indicate it is fine to clear. I went into my branch (Cranston branch) the other day, and the assistant manager (I believe? ) refused. She wouldn't even look at me, because she knows me and has spoken to me many times, and I've always been polite and cordial. She could easily have cleared it and had the authorization to do so but wouldn't. Gone are the days of customer service. I dispise this branch and intend to take this matter to the ombudsman if necessary.

  Scotiabank has had my business for a long time, and I like them. Two things really upset me. First they keep moving my personal banking officers around...and unfortunately my last one was from another country and I couldn't understand her! BUT the biggest peeve I have is not being able to phone the bank number and talk to a live person. As others have said, the phone answering system is abominable and extremely frustrating. In this age when banks are trying so hard with different strategies and call-backs to find out how pleased you are with your visit and your service....they need to look at their contact system - specifically the phone....and give their head a shake. My time is precious...your phone system sucks the life out of me........

  Not the best staff, I come to this location only because it's closer to my home. I dislike the atmosphere and I have never felt that the staff is actually want to help. They look sick and tired of the job and clearly reflect when you walk into this location. I used to deal with the location on Bridgeland area and staff was 100 times better than what in Cranston! Sorry and very unfortunate

  I have changed my review because the branch has consistently met my needs recently. Tellers are friendly. 7PM hours of operation service is a great thing!
