  It was located in such a cool building so right of the bat it made a good first impression. The interior did not disappoint! What a cool building. The food itself was delicious especially the pastries

  Great and very eclectic vibe as soon as I walked in this place. Everything looked super appetizing and the food was truly delicious.

  This place has so much going for it. Best bread in Calgary. I'm never disappointed with anything on their menu, and many items change based on what's in season so there's always great variety. For what you get (high quality ingredients and expert preparation), I find it a great value as well. Finally, you can't beat the atmosphere and location of their East Village location.

  Great Bakery and light food items. Quality is definitely there. Still exploring the menu but the few times I have been there, the food was outstanding.

  I've been coming to sidewalk citizen at the Simmons building since they opened and it's gone a bit downhill since they started. The service is decent however slow, even if taking out food. They have a small seating area and some outdoor seats, but it can get busy. There have been a couple of occasions where they have been out of something with no word on whether there will be more. Overall, good food, decent service, big price tags! Prices have definitely gone up over time and I've been having to cut back the number of times I do come by because of that. I'm not a fan of their cookies, but the croissants are nice. Overall, good place.

  I had the egg in a croissant sandwich, which was divine. The cheese pastry was also very very good. Also highly recommend the almond croissant. Very tasty, and you'll definitely go for seconds.
