Our dog had an ultrasound and a consult with a surgeon. Excellent experience. We found that both vets were willing to be straight up with their opinions, and took the time to talk things through with us.

The vets and surgeons at the Centre saved my dog's life, and did an amazing job looking after her before, during and after her procedure. I can't thank them enough.

I'm surprised of the low reviews here! but perhaps if you visited McKnight and Western all in one night during an emergency, you will notice the the day and night difference! Not only the staff were significantly friendlier and caring, the Doctor and Specialists sounded more professional. I'm in no place to judge which Doctor is more professional but the Doctors here will make you feel that you dog matters. Yes, emergency vet bills are expensive, but they were significantly (in thousands) more reasonable compared to Western. All followup calls and discussions were performed by the Specialist herself, not an assistant or front counter staff, and she was so patient with all of our questions!

Don't bring your pets here in an emergency unless you stop at the bank and get $5000 first. I thought you were taking care of my dog. I didn't go see him because i thought it would agitate him and make the bleeding worse. I didn't know you were not helping him. He died alone and scared. I will never forgive you. I hope every single person at this hospital has a long and happy life. Like Maxx never got to have.

I was referred here by my vet for emergency surgery after my pup swallowed part of a toy and got it stuck in her small intestine, and the staff at the Referral and Emergency Centre were very quick about getting my baby in for an ultrasound and then into the ER for surgery. It was costly at $5500, though I expected that given the emergency nature of the clinic, and the surgeons and techs took care to phone me for regular updates after the surgery took place so I always knew how my girl was doing, which was immensely reassuring.

Friends dog got ill quite suddenly and all this place did was jerk them around and hound them for money... at no point did it seem they actually cared for what was happening and after $3000 plus, the dog died under their care and the family was left reeling with no answers provided! You would be better off to have your pet stay home with you and let them pass away surrounded by love and care then to take them to this heartless “pet hospital”!
