    From the first moment I walked in, I found it to be a place where the GOD's Love, Joy and Shalom truly abounded in every member, without negativity or prejudice. It is a young Synagogue where women are greatly respected, and as such, participate in every part of the Shabbat service.

    If you are travelling, vacationing or just visiting, you will be warmly welcomed at Kehilat Shalom @ Calgary JCC, just as I was...so I stayed!

    I first came to Kehilat Shalom @ Calgary JCC because I was looking for a vibrant, dynamic singing Shul that welcomed Jews from all diverse cultures. It would have to be to accommodate me, a very 'out-of -the-box' Karaite Jew! Well, I found it and more, here at Kehilat Shalom!
