  Staff is rude. They don’t focus on the customer they are giving service to. They try to get more and more customer by giving bad service in rush. It sucks.

  Wish I could give this place 0 stars!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I went to Jacks nails in Mckenzie Towne, about 2-3 weeks ago and got a new set of (what I thought) beautiful nails. After almost 3 weeks of having these nails, they were almost bullet proof and just would not come off. I decided to try a nail salon closer to my work to get the set removed and have a new set put on. When the lady at this new nail salon (Romantic Nails in Braeside) started to try and remove my nails she was more than SHOCKED to see what Jacks nails had done to my poor nails. it took over an HOUR to try and remove these nails, and a lot of my natural nail came off with it. My fingers ALL started bleeding as well as having very NOTICABLE brown/black INFECTIONS in 4 of my fingers from the products that Jacks nails used on me!! The lovely lady at romantic nails was very patient and urged me to not come back to Jacks as what they had used on my skin/nails was very dangerous. After 2 hours of removing these nails/ cleaning and disinfecting my poor broken natural nails, I was told that my natural nails were so infected, damaged, and brittle that I would not be able to get a new set of nails applied for at least 2-3 MONTHS to allow my natural nails heal from the horrid infections Jacks nails and spa had given me. After 2+ hours of hard work the lady at romantic nails spent trying to repair my nails, she was kind enough to not even charge me for her hard work, and sent me home with products to properly clean my nails and stop the infection. I will be reporting this to the Calgary health board. This is a warning, ladies PLEASE PROTECT YOUR NAILS AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM HORRIBLE PAINFUL INFECTION. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

  I think this place is great. The price is very reasonable. Above average manicure.

  I like it here! They do a great job and the staff will treat you with respect if you do them, which I think is totally fair. Ive been going there for at least 3 years and I will give it a great review. They are always busy, so that says something. See for yourself, and have a conversation with them while they do your nails. Kindness goes a long way- it has to be a tough job doing nails all day long let alone dealing with the type of people who leave the bad reviews (like on here). I recommend it. The staff are fast and talented.

  Very rough left with multiple cuts after getting gel nails done. Also unclean, nail technician filed her own nail while doing mine. Will not be returning
