  Went for lunch after years of not going to Earls. Did they ever live up to why we stopped going. The food we ordered was bland. We ordered sushi that was very good. The wings we all did tasted very good but the presentation was terrible they would literally just dropped on a plate. The garnishes on the plates with old and wilted. The restaurant was not very busy however the service was very slow and a number of times we had to hunt for a waitress. Generally we bring issues to the attention of the manager after we paid the bill. The reason we do this is because when not looking for anything for nothing however this time the manager completely comped email, it was the correct thing to do but also very kind and unexpected. Would we go back not for a while.

  We've been coming to this location for the better part of 5 years. This location is our favorite out of all the Earls we've been to in Calgary. The layout of this location is excellent, the front house staff is warm and welcoming, and the lounge side (where we normally sit) - is definitely a great time. The food - is always on point, and they've never disappointed with the quality. I highly recommend the staple - Hunan!! Keeps me wanting more!

  Earls is always a nice place to have lunch or dinner. I like how they have always invested and changing their atmosphere. I've been going to Earl's for as long as I can remember. I think their menu is creative, refreshing and consistent. It's like their whole menu is comfort food!

  Don't get me wrong the appetizers were great and the staff was nice but I bought a few rounds of tequila shots for my friends and some ladies. They asked which tequila I wanted and I just asked that it wasn't a silver. He poured $18 shots for everyone. I was expecting 7-8 a shot so when I was handed a $290 bill I was a little shell shocked.

  Good location, good food, good staff. Everything seemed clean as well. Good job Earls. I'd return here again. Staff could do with some improvement on socializing skills though. The usual "so what are you up to tonight" routine is a little old. A suggestion would also to be better separate bar and dining areas - almost seems one and the same if you have loud people in the bar area.
