  Using One House Real Estate was the best thing we did when we decided to move to a new area of Calgary. Danny and his team were extremely professional and courteous and were very patient with us while we decided which house we wanted to buy. We looked in several areas of South East Calgary and One House Real Estate was right there with us every step of the way. Danny was always available whether we needed to see one house or five. Danny and James are both very personable and understanding, they are a wealth of information, and really know their stuff when it comes to what house prices should be. The advice we received was impeccable when deciding what price to set for selling our house; the selling price was spot on. Our one and only open house resulted in six showings the very next day and our house sold in less than three weeks thanks to Danny and his team. I will always highly recommend Danny James and One House Real Estate.

  Yes, our home sold but I do not feel we were treated as a priority or of any importance to Danny at all. We were simply a drop in the bucket.

  My husband and I were referred to Danny James through our builder Hopewell residential. We were incentivized to use One House Realty because Hopewell would cover a portion of the fees. We were skeptical at first, but decided to sit down and meet with Danny. He was very accommodating and came to our home during the evening, which fit into our schedule. Our initial meeting, we felt very confident in our decision, Danny was very personable and made us feel important.

  It really is a comfort having someone so invested in us as people, guiding us through big decisions and having someone as knowledgeable about the housing market as Danny on your side. Especially with such an important life decision as selling a beloved family home and purchasing a new one.

  After the home being on the market for a few weeks I asked Danny if we could do an open house. Seemed a little odd that I had to request an open house myself. We had not had a single interest in the first few weeks, so I also asked if we should make an adjustment to our listing price. It took him 2 days to respond to me. I started to feel a little frustrated. He agreed that we needed to reduce the price and he would see if someone from his office was available.

  Someone from his office showed up to do the open house for us. After another 2 weeks on the market and hardly any viewings, I asked him again if our price was too high. He said yes and we brought it down again. I also had to request if we could do another open house. Again, he would see if someone from his office was available.

  I felt extremely unimportant when communicating with Danny. He came to our house with all these promises and sold us on himself. Yet, we did not even so much as see him again in the 3.5 months our home was on the market. He was not there for any of the open houses and continued to hand us off to other people at his office.

  When we had an offer and were countering back and forth, I was hoping for some guidance as this is the first home I have ever sold. Instead when telling me the offer he simply said "What would you like to do". Rather than helping me figure out what my options were. I felt alone and confused, I was completely reliant on the advice of my husband, father, co-workers, anyone except Danny.
