After waiting 25 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment I left. No service, no apology. I will not return. On top the rates are quite high compared to other clinics in Calgary.

The only reason I am giving this clinic one star is because they don't allow you to go below that. After a motor vehicle accident I had requested to be sent to Lifemark Southland Leisure Centre because I had been treated there before. Wow! How things went down hill in a few years. I was treated by John - well, not really treated per se. He was almost always 15 - 20 minutes late, and even then he was usually not prepared. He never seemed to have even looked at my chart so wasn't sure what we had discussed the previous time or even what he planned for me to do. He usually had 5 or 6 clients on the go at the same time so I spent most of my time either on heat (thanks to the physio assistants), or repeating the same exercises i was doing at home. Sometimes, he forgot within the same session what I had already done and told me to go do it again because he didn't really have time for me that day. After he finally got around to applying for another extension by the insurance company, I called the insurance company and requested to be sent somewhere else. When he contacted me and I expressed my displeasure with his services his said, "You just don't know how it works." Well, apparently I and most other places do know how it works because at my new therapists clinic, I started to see improvement within 3 treatments - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE AT ALL IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANY REAL IMPROVEMENT. They certainly should not be billing for a full physio appointment as you only really get 5 - 10 minutes with a physio.

Physio session was horrible. Appointment was scheduled for 9:15am, I didn't get to see the physiotherapist until 9:45am. Once in the room, I realized my time was split with 2 other (this was my first initial session). The physiotherapist there disregarded my complaints and said that there wasn't really anything wrong. I was referred by a sports med specialist after getting an MRA; clearly, something was wrong. I didn't leave the clinic until 10:30am, of which, the physio spent at most 15min with me. I would not return and would rather pay that kind of money (~$100 for initial assessment) for a privately owned practice, with people who actually listen to you.

I had John for 6 visits to work my way back from a fractured knee and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and helped me get back to normal activities very quick. The staff was great to be around and always had appointment times that would work with my schedule.

Thank-you Susan for you clear and professional insight into my condition and treatment. I am now able to move on and will seek your services again if I require it.
