This is a wonderful and informative place for adults and kids! If you live in Calgary or are passing through the city, I highly recommend you to come here and take a look. :)

My son went with his beavers group and the presentation was a bit over their head and too long for that age group.

I was hoping i could go in to escape the cold while my car was getting repaired, unfortunately it was closed. I'm guessing this place propogates negatively political messages about drugs, teaching kids to just say no rather than actually teaching kids how to be safe if they do choose to use their own free will. And probably negates to talk about origins of police, how they have been used for corporate interests.

It was an extremely informative visit with lots to look at. The centre was divided into different sections, each section was just the perfect size to keep a child's attention span. We were able to sit in a police car, listen to a live radio stream of police activity, sit in a pretend jail cell and even do some problem solving in the forensics section. You can probably go through the centre in 2 hrs tops, which is perfect if you have kids.

Other things that impressed me is the amount of parking spaces available. The volunteers were super friendly as well. They walked around and presented us with tons of information. A must know, this centre is only open to the public on Fridays. Mon-Thurs is for school tours only.
