  As a realtor, and investor in real estate, I frequently find myself in Forest Lawn. I'm always curious to see how 17th Ave, now named International Avenue, is transitioning. Currently, it seems to be transitioning quite nicely. I recently popped into the Co-op Liquor Store ... and as I arrived, I immediately thought to myself ... "How can these liquor stores looks so bad". It's pretty amazing really. // So many of these private liquor stores in Alberta ... and I suppose across our country ... just look shabby. They must be quite profitable ... to be able to compete and be so shabby. // There was a nice selection of beer, and choose some interesting IPA's. At the cash, somehow it was no surprise to me that the SKU did not work ... and the cashier had to excuse himself to run to the back ... for whatever. Being 2017 ... I didn't mind ... I just took my phone from my pocket and pretended to be busy doing important things. ;-) In the end ... 5/5 for selection of beer ... and 2/5 for shabbiness ... does that equal 3/5?

  SARA reaffirmed two of my choices for white wines, and I must say, they are both stellar choices. (Btw, Sara, I don't have a dog or a boyfriend). I've always had luck with the wines I purchase here & always have a nice chat with the staff.
