The library has been renovated to have a bigger kids area with a jungle gym. It is loud and there is no quiet study. Construction was supposed to be done by December but for the last three days I have shown up and returned home with no spots to sit. Construction workers use tables for storage of their own things, and tables are plastic while new ones are built and stacked in the middle of the library. The librarians do not care for those studying quietly, and often speak obnoxiously loudly when showing others around the shelves. There is singing, and construction workers drilling everywhere. Its a library not a playground guys.

This place used to be my favourite to grab a spot and get some good studying in. With renovations, i have come to the library numerous times without plugs to charge my laptop, there are only 5 tables available now to work on, and with the new playground in the kids section it is not a library but a community scream fest. Couldnt even find a spot to tutor. Sad to see the local library be turned into an indoor playground.

Just moved to the area and REALLY disappointed with this library. I think it's great to offer family programs but I've never been in a library with so much noise. The worst part of this location though is the parking lot - it is always full and impossible to find a spot.

I deleted my previous 1star rating for this location but I just have to put it back up - the staff here are incredibly helpful, polite and do their best to make the library experience great for everyone - but there were only 5 or 6 functioning wall-plugs for laptops/phones/whatever up until a few days ago - now the remaining ones seem to have been disconnected from any sources of power making this place a nightmare for anyone who needs to work/study on a laptop, tablet, phone or anything that runs off of electricity. This is unacceptable, regardless of the excruciatingly slow pace of renovations

At sharp 5 pm one of the staff member asked me to stop copying. I said I just need 30 SECONDS and I am done. She replied we are not paid for this extra time, so stop here and come tomorrow. Best thing I could do was just to immediately stop and leave, which I did. Having said that I have good experience with other staff as well, so I hope they show some flexibility at this end as well. Even if they want us to leave, there can be a better reply than linking salary with extra 30 seconds.
