  He then asked me if I am using/taking anything for my acne. I looked at him and said “No?” with a quizzical expression (because I didn’t have acne… my face had a red spot on my cheek from a pimple I had about 4 days prior but that was it). He then gets his nurse to write me a prescription for acne and left, without saying a word.

  I was sent to this clinic by my doctor because I had a small angioma on my chin (for years) and over the last year or so it started rupturing and bleeding profusely every 1-2 months (sorry if this is TMI). I was getting concerned so went to my doctor who referred me here.

  I really appreciate when a health care provider is highly skilled and has excellent bedside manner. Dr. Kaziel is very kind and takes the time to listen. The team are very excited to move to their new location and to offer the latest in technology to their clients, so I am looking forward to my follow up.

  A minute or so later the doctor comes in, barely introduces himself and takes a look at my chin and says that it is either cancer or a cherry angioma. This took me aback because my mind did not venture anywhere near the topic of cancer. He said that the nurse was going to take a sample (she did a great job) and send it out to their lab and it would come back in the next two weeks.

  My review is not so good purely because of his bedside manner; it was complete garbage. I could see that all he cared about was my money for acne cream… seriously?

  I've been to many clinics/spas and since I found them I would never go anywhere else. The staff is amazing and the services are even better. I live outside of Calgary so it is a bit of a drive but it's definitely worth the drive. Trust me, their the best!!!

  I have never had any cosmetic surgery of any kind and I am sure they are great at what they do but I came in because of a health issue, not a beauty issue. I could care less about the little red dot on my chin (until it became an issue of course). When I was told that it might be cancer that was very upsetting. To have the news brushed off and segued into a sale for acne cream was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never go back here again. He did not say the chances of it being cancer were high or low, just that it might be so.

  When I arrived, I didn’t wait long and was moved to the doctor’s room where I waited for less than 5 minutes and a nurse came in and was asking me all of these questions and I answered them.

  The nurse gave me the prescription and I said that I don’t want it and she said to take it in case I changed my mind. I just said okay and then threw it out when I got home.

  DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came in for a very simple procedure & walked out with a staph infection in my heart!! The infection destroyed 1/3 of my heart & I had to get TWO open heart surgeries. I also now have a pacemaker. I was only 33 years old. I’ll be lucky if I live a full life. These people almost KILLED ME & I pray they won’t do this to someone else. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!
