  We had contracted Blue Lake to replace front sidewalk, front retaining wall, driveway and rear retaining wall and were extremely disappointed with the results. As discussed with the owner, there were several issues: 1. Front sidewalk needed a few repairs and now still has two small holes that are visible. The sealant does not seem to be even.

  5. Driveway brushed / broomed - clearly evident that sections were troweled and not brushed because the cement was too dry and not mixed properly. The colour is extremely splotchy and streaky and there are several different colours within the concrete from the same pour. Lots of really rough patches compared to the newly poured driveway next door.

  7. Inquired if owner would like some photos to put on your website to advertise the quality of this project by Blue lake. Obviously, no response.

  If you are looking for a contractor to build your dreams look no further Blue Lake Contracting is the team to hire. I have had them complete noumros projects for my clinents and they have done an amazing job leaving the customers satisfied with there choice of Contractor.

  8. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH BLUE LAKE IS THE OWNER/GM IS EXTREMELY CONFRONTATIONAL ONCE A CONTRACT IS SIGNED AND AGREED TO. HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT HE WORKS FOR THE CLIENT/CUSTOMER, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. ALSO, HE DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ERRORS OR DOES NOT APOLOGIZE FOR POOR WORKMANSHIP AND PRODUCT. ONCE HE RECEIVES PAYMENT FOR THE PROJECT HE WILL ATTEMPT TO AVOID FOLLOW-UP SERVICE.

  The workers are rude and ignorant Islamist racists who hate white people. I dealt with several of their workers regularly and all they want to do is talk about how much they hate white people. I have stopped using this company because of the constant conflict their drivers cause with everyone around them

  3. Blue Lake workers required to use our outside water tap to spray concrete as it was being poured due to poor and dry mixture. Tap continued to slowly drip which caused a hole in freshly poured driveway under tap, which Blue Lake repaired. However, white concrete was used for the repair and is clearly visible from the front street.
