  I can confirm that Dr. Glenn Chan is the best dentist in Calgary. Why? because he cares about the well being of his patients and puts it above any other considerations, he is patient , very compassionate and takes time to explain things, all of this comes with a fair price. I would strongly recommend him to any one seeking an excellent dentist.

  In the last few years the administrative staff seem to have changed and become a lot less personable and helpful. They stopped billing my insurance at the time of my appointment (they used to do this), resulting in waiting weeks to know the difference that I would have to pay. Then they would just bill my credit card without confirming. The last time they did this was unfortunately the breaking point for me - it took almost 6 weeks to find out that an appliance I got wasn't covered by my benefits and I was billed the full amount without anyone even bothering to contact me first. I had tried following up multiple times before and was told they didn't know what was owing yet. The worst part was it was only 5 days before all of my health spending account receipts were due and the office staff was not helpful when I was trying to rush to get original receipts before the weekend in order to submit them on time. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I feel like if you are doing this kind of billing all day, you can help your customers out a bit more or find out sooner before it's too late to be reimbursed.

  Let me say first that I loved Dr. Chan as a dentist, he does an excellent job and is very kind - he always remembers little details about you. He is not the issue, but your interaction with him accounts for only about 10% of your visit. The hygienists were always friendly but in the last few years I have not seen the same one twice. Unfortunately his prices are quite high compared to other offices and it's often difficult to get in because they are so busy.

  I recommend Dr. Chan to all my colleagues and friends. I have had a few dentists throughout my life and these guys are by far the best. Amazing attention to detail, knowledgeable, conservative and just genuinely pleasant to deal with. I always say, it's a shame that I only get to see Dr. Chan twice a year for cleanings. They are great people and the coffee at the front is a nice bonus as well. Thank you for being such an outstanding professional and having an amazing team.

  He’s a great dentist, super fast and skilled. As well as has a great sense of humor and bedside manor. Highly recommended!
