    I was somewhat hesitant taking the advice of our insurance company and taking our two cars into KhS Calgary after the July 31st hailstorm turned both cars (one a 4 week old Grand Cherokee, the other a Dodge mini-van) into big metal golf balls.

    While they pride theirself in good work, their customer service is terrible. The company took me for a run around with my insurance claims. Some people had the info, others didn't, I received 3 different phone calls in one day from 3 different people about the exact same questions they had. They have no system to track anything. When I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication in their company they tried to blame it on me. Very unprofessional and rude manager at the calgary location. Change up who's representing your company and it will make the world of a difference. Good customer service goes farther than you think!

    I had terrible experience at this place. I would give it zero stars if it would let me! I brought my TL for hail damage repairs & was told it will be ready in 7-12 days, I got my car back 2 months later! On top of this extreme delay, they damaged the leather on the inside of the passenger door. They tried to blame it on me, finally they agreed to replace the pocket on the door, where most of the damage was at. THEN , when they replaced the pocket, they broke the plastic that the pocket attaches to. It's endless incompetence at this place. Now I have to go get it fixed myself because I can't prove they did this.

    I strongly advise you to not go to these people. If you decide to, you should take very detailed pictures of your entire car before dropping it off!!

    2) The customer service was top notch. The front office staff were friendly. The two managers (Steve initially, and then Robert who took over when Steve had been moved to another KhS facility) were awesome - both are from the Carolinas and had the kind of politeness southern folks are known for. Robert went way out of his way to get a seal for my sunroof that was not listed in the dealers parts database - many phone calls to the dealership and me to sort this out. The Jeep was finished up only one day after promised, and the van was done a couple of days early - frequent updates were received by email in both cases. And, to top it off they fixed some door dings in the van that were not anywhere near the hail damage for no charge!

    However, I have to say my experience with KhS was very positive. I mentioned my apprehension when I called to book the appraisal appointments. The very nice lady on the phone offered to have me to speak to the manager (Steve). He in turn offered that when I brought the first car in, to ask for him and he would show me the process from start to finish. I took him up on the offer, and he spent a good 45 minutes of his busy day taking me around the shop, introducing me to the appraisers, a couple of the technicians, and showing me cars at various stages including the finished product.
