  2017 Captains Ride... although the roads are gravel this is a great campground... we enjoyed our staying... people running it was very nice.

  Large spaces terraced up a hill, so you get some nice views. A little noise from the freeway, but not bad. The layout of each site is unusual, electricity and water are on opposite sides so our water hose wouldn't reach. The staff is efficient but not too friendly. Overall however, we'll stay here again.

  This is our second stay at this campground...once before in July 2015. And now in July 2017....the campground playground is hardly a playground. A couple of swings and a slide. The advertised "heated" pool is COLD!!! And I mean COLD. We just spent 4 days at another campground with a heated pool and my kids would spend hours in the pool...in this pool you can only stay in for 15-20 min and they are shivering. I asked to have the temperature turned up a degree or two and was told they keep it at 79' ....which is 2-3 degrees colder than most public pools. I would not recommend booking here if the pool and playground is what you are wanting to enjoy.

  We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Close to the city. Sites weren't too roomy but was fine for us. Bathrooms were very clean. Quiet. Would stay here again.

  We had a trailer storage spot here for our tent trailer. Our spot had very deep ruts in the mud where we had to park our unit. It was convenient to our home and the price was good, but we have since opted to start storing in our backyard instead.
