The staff are always friendly and dressed in time period appropriate costume. The fresh gingerbread men and cinnamon buns are scrumptious and a must have! The coffee is good too. It would be great to have a little more variety of fresh foods there as they have more than enough room for seating.

I agree with Lael. This is a prime location for an authentic tea shop / cafe, but it's far from reaching its potential. A too-small selection of baked goods, all cellophane-wrapped, and too expensive. In need of cozy chairs, warm cushions, acoustic insulation / baffles, and fresh-made sandwiches, soups and desserts. One can only hope.

Sat at the counter. Waited for more than 5 minutes for service. First time ever there. Had two servers behind the counter walking back and forth in front of me without even a simple acknowledgement that I was there. Finally got up and left and out of corner of my eye all they did was watch me leave.

I would give this no stars if I could. This was the worst cafe I've ever visited. Now first, the servers are very nice. But I took a dear friend who is 88 years old there, thinking we'd get something old-fashioned and good. Not. It was VERY loud, some machine going so you couldn't talk. The baked goods are all wrapped in cellophane and look about as appetizing as dry-wall. Ordered apple pie, the dough wasn't cooked, it came in a plastic tray. I asked to have it put on a plate and it fell apart. The whipping cream was from a can. This at Heritage Park?? The coffee was extremely bitter. Two men had to return underdone scones. Expensive AND VERY poor quality. I complained to the manager who, while sorry, only offered to give me a comment card, no attempt to refund any money. I STRONGLY advise you to avoid this place like the plague. Heritage Park can do better. It should have home-made pies and baked goods, good coffee so people really have a feeling for what food used to taste like before it came wrapped in plastic and stale-dated. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
