  I had the Blackened Haddock sandwich and it was overcooked and bland (most blackened food has a little 'heat' to it). Didn't think much about it at the time as I was having a business meeting and had more important things to focus on. Service and ambience excellent as always..

  My Wife and I were having a date night on December 15. I had broke our reservations in October and was told when I arrived that I could have a table in the lounge. We sit down and order some drinks, and after a few minutes we are told that we need to move as that table was reserved despite the fact that there was no "reserved" sign on the table. I told that staff member that I had also made reservations and I did not feel that it was fair for us to have to move. She then left in a huff and after a few minutes of getting snarky looks from her every time she walked by so I told her that we would move as I just wanted to enjoy our dinner at which point I was told not to worry about it anymore. Needless to say I did not appreciate being treated like a second class customer, and the whole experience really put a damper on our evening.

  Mom's Birthday 2018 gave us reason to have dinner as a family including my Sister and Nephews. EVERYONE at CHOP treated us exceptionally well and the food was perfect. Again, I couldn't have had a better time out with my family. THANK YOU for creating a special night at your restaurant for us! I cannot say enough about how gratefully uncommon my experiences have been. Ashley, 'Liz' and Don treated us wonderfully! I cannot recall the night managers name that kept an eye on us, but will update review with her name once I do. They all went above and beyond to provide absolutely the best experience possible and they have my loyalty and appreciation.

  Steak was good. They forgot my fries and then I got them 10 minutes after my steak was finished after we asked twice. Not the worst experience but not going back.

  My husband and I have always wanted to come here, and decided to come before a Flames game back in December. We underestimated how much time we had and mentioned it to our waiter. He had our food out super fast without us even asking him to rush it. He was super friendly and made us feel comfortable, I wish I could remember his name! The restaurant is pretty and clean. The food was so amazing we got take out the next night. The Lobster, Scallop and Gorgonzola Dip is my favourite!

  I have always enjoyed this Chop location for personal dining, but last Christmas was allowed the opportunity to use CHOP gift certificates for our company gift giving. The phone inquiry was directed to Ashley I believe, and she was exceptional on the phone and convinced me that The Chop would be pleased to have my business. When I arrived at the restaurant to order my Gift Cards, Ashley responded to the front desk before I could even sit down! She gave me the perfect experience that day and I couldn't be happier. I even got to meet the Chef! I have always been impressed each time I am at the Chop, whether its the food, great service, personalities or simply the beautiful dining room. The discretely distributed Courtesy Valentines Day cards were a nice touch last February! They make great efforts to respect allergies and as my Mother has a MSG concern I would trust them to do their very best to address any diet restrictions.

  I'll go back to Chop as I quite like it there, but I won't order fish there again..
