  Spent 4 hours waiting for the check in counter to open and get another flight booked. Small eerie desolate place with only a Tim Horton donut place open and bodega type place.

  Surprisingly nice airport; newly remodeled (or built). Very clean. Very easy to navigate. You clear USA Customs here vs. at the destination. The walk to the rental car location is nice after the plane ride. If that's not your sort of thing, the airport "beep-beep" drivers will be more than happy to shuttle you around.

  I’m sure I would have been a much better experience if I hadn’t arrived at midnight with a missed connection flight due to delay from Vancouver. It was empty except for janitors and some security ppl.

  All positives other than the roughly 6 foot 7, 260 pound man who decided he had to practically remove his pants in order to use the urinal beside me. They could forever end this problem by hiring bathroom attendants and posting signs that include proper bathroom etiquette outside of the bathrooms. I know hiring full time employees to sit in each washroom doesn't seem very practical or cost effective, but it improves the experience of everybody in the airport. If ticket prices have to increase, so be it! This must be fixed! Say no to crack!

  I've used the new international terminal in Calgary a few times now since it has opened. Thoughtful design from the airy departures lounge to the smart system of tray organization. It's speeds up security so much. Highly recommend getting a nexus pass for even speedier service. The lounge is pleasant and clean. Ample seating and they thoughtfully displayed local artists throughout. All in all, impressed with the direction YYC airport is going.

  At the Calgary airport to take a connecting flight to Vancouver. A nice airport and easy to get around. There are lots of food choices that include the common airport restaurants. They have the friendliest and most helpful staff of any airport I have visited. From security, cleaning staff, store shop staff to airline staff....all are great.

  Was really clean and plenty of places to crash even though that was the last thing I wanted to do there. Good luck if you miss a connecting flight after whenever the airline staff leaves. You’re on your own.
