  I would not recommend this accounting firm. I hired Small Business Accounting Professionals for 3 tax seasons. The communication is poor, they forgot simple tasks and made mistakes to my business tax returns. When I corrected them and questioned them they invoiced me for their mistakes. Now I am in a position that a need to hire another CA to re-do three years of accounting. I originally choose Small Business Accounting Professionals because they were the cheapest deal I could find, but you get what you pay for and now I and having the pay another accountant help me out of this mess. I have learnt my lesson.

  Transitioned my corporate business to Alvares & McLeod this year and it's been nothing but pleasant. They've been able to really 'hand-hold' me through the transition, reduce the 'overwhelm', and have helped me pick up the missing pieces left out by the previous firm.

  As a small business owner, I would strongly recommend Tracy, Kevin, Amber and the team at Alvares and McLeod as an accounting and bookkeeping firm for other small business owners. I have worked with Tracy and her team for several years now for accounting services and advice, bookkeeping, business and tax planning. The level of customer service the firm provides is outstanding! They are very knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, and always professional. Any question I ask is answered promptly and thoroughly. In meeting deadlines, they are exceptional, even when I submit my paperwork and documentation to them late! They offer support so I can manage my business independently, and offer services for when I'm too busy to do it myself. And, everything they do is always with a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and a smile. My business runs smoothly because of Alvares and McLeod.
