  I nicely told the woman on the phone that I did not have a good experience because of these two problems. I understand people make mistakes and neither of these were intentional, however, they should have been handled much more professionally.

  We are very happy with Christine and her team at A1 Accounting. They handle all our Tax issues for our personal and corporate business in a very timely manner. Christine always takes the time to answer any questions we do have and has given us valuable advice that works for our portfolio.

  A1 Accounting has fully mended my damaged confidence in the accounting industry. Christine Wiley and her team quickly understood my situation and consulted me with skill and empathy. What was once a hated activity for me (gather receipts and statements etc) has become surprisingly easy. My meetings with A1 accounting staff are not only fun, but I truly feel they care for me and my business.

  Not a very great experience and I really have no desire to go back to this company for service in the future. I originally chose to go with this company because of all the great reviews I had read online, but unfortunately am not able to say I had the same experience.

  Terrible experience here. Went to them for small business taxes. They were lazy, uncommunicative, did not listen or pay attention to details, and straight up lied to us. We were passed along to several different employees there, and each one had less of an idea what was going on. Our taxes were a mess, and when we had to amend them, we were told that "amending taxes raises red flags with CRA". Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't CRA rather you amend your tax returns so they are CORRECT, rather than filing incorrect information? We were never apologized to for mistakes, and we were charged for all of their time, including fixing mistakes that WE had to find ourselves and ask them multiple times to fix. I highly discourage anyone with a small business from going here.

  I was quoted Monday or Tuesday at the latest for my personal taxes to be completed (I am in a rush as I am in the midst of buying a house) however, I did not hear from anybody in the office until Friday. No notice that they would be 3-4 days later than expected.

  I was quoted my personal taxes to cost $80. I gave them $50 when I dropped off my paperwork for my "deposit" and then when I went to pay the remaining (what I thought would be $30) I was told I owed an additional $170. I did not agree to this, nor did somebody phone me to let me know that my taxes would be $140 more than I expected.

  The entire team at A1 Accounting is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to deal with them and they take the dread of of doing taxes for us! Not only do they know their stuff but they also know us by name which it is a nice feeling. We know that we're not just an 'account'.
